Description
A group of us from work were on a 5 hour road trip to an all staff function and along the way, we stopped at a favourite place of mine. While we were walking, stretching our legs, we saw a few Great Blue Herons, when one started making quite the racket. Something in the sky caught my eye, and I thought it was another Heron flying in, but once it got a little closer, it was an American White Pelican. It flew in almost right in front of where I was standing, and just one flew in. It was so amazing to see it fly in so gracefully and land in the water not far from where I was standing on the trail. It was soon joined by another Great Blue Heron, it really gives you the size difference between the two of them.
